Occupational Therapist

Hours of Work: PRN

Qualifications:  Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the State of Illinois.  Applicants must be a graduate from an accredited O.T. program with a minimum of BS in O.T. and must possess an Illinois license or be eligible. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing highly skilled evaluations and patient care for in-patients, out-patients, swing-bed, Early Intervention, Lymphedema, and home health clients.  Occupational Therapy clients may include infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers, adolescents, adults, and geriatric population.  Applicants must be highly motivated, experienced, professional with the ability to start programs, be a mentor, and work independently in the inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings.  One must have a current and valid Illinois Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and car insurance is required.   One must possess good handwriting, excellent communication skills, good computer operation skills, and operation of patient care equipment.

Qualifications: Graduate of accredited Medical Laboratory Program with ASCP certification within 6 months of hire.  Computer knowledge/skills; good decision making, good customer service, and phlebotomy skills.

Maintenance Mechanic II

Hours:   8:00am–4:30pm (Tues-Sat.)

Qualifications: Must be a self-starter, and possess knowledge of general maintenance, including but not limited to:

  • General preventive maintenance
  • Painting and drywall repair
  • Basic plumbing and electrical repairs
  • Mowing and grounds keeping
  • General facility modifications

Applicant must be willing to work in all hospital spaces, both interior and exterior, patient rooms, and medical clinics, using “Clean” working methods in all areas.

Applicant must be able to work weekends and on-call as required.

Must have valid Illinois Driver’s License, pass a post offer drug screening, and be in good physical health.

Paramedic

Hours of Work: 7AM- 7AM

Qualifications:
Must have valid Illinois Paramedic license.
ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS (or ITLS) required.
CPR required for all applicants.

Job Duties: The successful candidate will be responsible for treating ill and injured patients of all age groups. The EMT or Paramedic will perform skilled work while operating in an approved mobile medical unit, rescuing victims and performing advanced emergency care including the administration of life sustaining treatment to patients on-site and while in route to hospital. The candidate will be an active team member in the Emergency Department and be a positive influence in the organization.

Qualifications:

Reviews all accounts for insurance and patient follow-up.
Reviews patients bills for accuracy and completeness
Identifies and bills secondary or other insurance
Adheres to all Federal and State regulations and guidelines related to HIPPA, compliance and billing behaviors and practices.
Follows all Standards of Ethical coding, Federal, State, and local billing guidelines.

Qualifications:
Must have valid Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure.

TNCC or TNS preferred or willing to obtain
Minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing preferred
CPR Certification

Job Duties:
The ED RN ensures the delivery of and provides quality nursing care for patients of all ages presenting to the Emergency Department. The RN works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The RN will incorporate caring for all patients in all settings, and includes, but is not limited to, all of the following: A comprehensive nursing assessment, the development of a plan of nursing care to be integrated within the patient centered health care plan, and setting goals to meet identified health care needs, determining nursing interventions, and implementation of nursing care through the execution of nursing strategies and regimens ordered or prescribed by authorized healthcare professionals. The Registered Nurse will administer medication in a timely manner. The nurse will delegate duties to comply with the patient’s current plan of care and advocate for patients. The Registered Nurse will evaluate responses to interventions and the effectiveness of the plan of care. The nurse must communicate and collaborate with other health care professionals as needed to ensure continuity of care.

Hours of Work: Two positions available (day shift and night shift)

Qualifications: Certified Nursing Assistant who has successfully completed a certification course and is listed on the State of Illinois CNA registry. CPR certification required.

Job Duties: This person will perform patient care as defined by scope of practice and collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The candidate must be willing to study and successfully pass the telemetry test.

Hours of Work: PRN (Per Diem)

Qualifications: Illinois State License and ARRT Certification

Responsibilities:  Conducts or participates in routine and specialized Radiographic, CT, and possibly other procedures for which competency has been demonstrated.  This requires independent judgment and the ability to adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a Radiologist.  Must be available for some 3rd shift Sundays.

MSW/LSW

Hours of Work: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work or Behavioral Sciences, active Illinois LCSW or LCPC license preferred.  Must be a strong team player, highly motivated, flexible, and provide good communication skills.

Responsibilities: The position works with the clinical team to provide individual, group, and/or family counseling, develop master treatment plans and assessment for clients, work closely with primary care provider to determine the appropriate course of treatment and goal planning with clients to promote an improved quality of life.

Scanner and Referral/ Prior Authorization

Hours: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities: Scanning and importing documentation into patient electronic charts.  Assisting with EMR document import and functioning as a medical office clerk when needed.  Obtain pre-certifications/prior authorizations for tests and/or medications.  Schedule outside referrals to other providers.  Process nursing home and home health notes that are sent through the EHR fax.

Qualifications: This position is 40 hour per week in the HMA Clinic. Medical office and computer experience required.  Electronic medical records experience preferred.  Must possess a positive attitude.  Exceptional patient relations experience required.  Must have the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.  High school diploma or equivalent required.
