Job Title: Clinic Billing Rep I

Hours of Work:  Mon- Fri 8:00 am – 4:30 pm 

Qualifications CPT/ICD-10 experience preferred.  Insurance billing experience preferred.  Must possess the ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team. High school graduate or equivalent required.

Job Responsibilities: Ensure day-to-day insurance tasks are accurately completed for clinic billing and Home Health billing.  Precise and timely data entry, insurance filing, collection and posting of daily receipts.

Hours  Monday thru Friday – Day Shift        36-40 hours per week (Full-time)

Qualifications: Medical office and computer experience required.  Electronic medical records experience preferred.   Exceptional patient relations experience required.  Must have the ability to be a self-starter, multi-task, prioritize and work as part of a team.  High school diploma and current Illinois LPN/RN license required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Directly responsible for the coordination of patient care of the department
  • Adheres to the mission and values of Mason District Hospital
  • Holds self and staff accountable
  • Responsible for the hiring and development of staff, as well as performance appraisals and discipline

  • Collaborates with the nurse educator in assessing and planning orientation and in-service needs of the personnel

  • Assures Joint Commission, IDPH and other regulatory standards are met

Job Title: Certified Diabetic Educator

Hours of Work:  Day Shift; M-F –  Full time

Qualifications:  Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN) required with at least 2 years of hands on experience in adult Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes care

  • Current certification to practice as NP from an accredited certifying body required
  • Valid DEA required
  • Certified Diabetic Educator preferred, if no CDE, willing to gain certification within set time frame

Responsibilities

assessment, diagnosis, management and treatment of diabetes and comorbid conditions—with demonstration of critical thinking in diagnostic process.

  • Ability to support and work along-side multiple physicians and mid-levels within clinic by accepting referrals of patients with pre-diabetes and diabetes while providing these patients with comprehensive diabetes care that encompasses diabetes education, behavior change counseling, nutritional education, ongoing supportive DM care, medication managements, personal CGM and insulin pump starts and management and referrals to other specialists as may be needed.
  • Managing professional ambulatory CGM program—handling referrals, hook-up and interpretation of devices.
  • Ability to work successfully in electronic medical records (EMR) program

Job Title: Patient Accounts Representative

Hours of Work:  Mon-Fri  1st Shift)

Essential Functions: Reviews patients bills for accuracy and completeness. Knowledge of ICD-10 billing codes & CPT codes. Identifies and bills secondary or other insurance. Reviews all accounts for insurance or patient follow-up. Adheres to all Federal and State regulations and guidelines related to HIPPA, compliance and billing behaviors and practices. Follows all Standards of Ethical coding, Federal, State, and local billing guidelines. Stay current with job-related changes. All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:  Must have at least 5 years of experience in hospital business office with some involvement with Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial billing. Must have knowledge of what ICD-10, CPT and HCPC codes are. Understand revenue cycles. Must have good organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Must have High School Diploma or GED.

Job Title: Patient Access Registration

Hours of work:  Mon-Fri 8:00am – 4:30pm  

 Responsibilities: Must have high school diploma and good customer service skills.  Must be willing to learn CPSI computer system for registrations. Patient Access Representative is responsible for registration and financially related data collection when a patient arrives at the practice site.
