Registered Nurse- Med/Surg Department

Hours of Work: 6:30pm-7:00am (Full-time)

Qualifications: Registered Professional Nurse with current Illinois license, CPR & ACLS certified or willing to obtain.


CNA/Telemetry Tech

Hours: 7am to 7:30pm, Full-time  (Every other weekend)

Responsibilities:

This person will perform patient care as defined by scope of practice and collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications:

  • Telemetry experience or willing to learn telemetry.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant who has successfully completed a certification course and is listed on the State of Illinois CNA Registry.
  • CPR certification required.

Cook

Hours: 10am – 6:30pm (Full-time/Every Other Weekend)

Qualifications:

Ability to follow oral and written communications, ability to operate computer and cash register, food sanitation certificate preferred.


Emergency Department Tech

Hours:  6:00PM- 6:30AM (Full-time with weekends)

Qualifications: Must have valid Illinois EMT-B or CNA certification and valid CPR card.

Responsibilities: Responsible for performing various patient care activities and related non-professional services including determining patient’s needs, providing direct care, monitoring vital signs and assisting with admissions, transfers and discharge of patients. Responsibilities also include registration of patients through the hospital computer system. Must have CNA or EMT-B license.

Qualifications: Must have valid Illinois EMT-B or CNA certification and valid CPR card.

Radiology Tech

Hours: PRN (Per Diem)

Qualifications:

Illinois State License and ARRT Certification

Conducts or participates in routine and specialized Radiographic, CT, and possibly other procedures for which competency has been demonstrated.  This requires independent judgement and the ability to adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a Radiologist.

Applicant must be able to problem solve, self-motivate and be capable of critical thinking.


Senior Advantage–Licensed Clinical Social Worker—Outpatient Therapist

Hours:  Monday- Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (Full-time)

Requirements:

  • LCSW is required, Master’s degree in Mental Health, Counseling, Social Work or Psychology
  • Illinois licensure
  • Support the organization’s mission along with sensitivity of cultural and workplace harmony
  • A valid driver’s license along with access to a vehicle
  • Ability to maintain confidential information within HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies
  • Ability to be flexible especially with scheduling and site locations and to perform, prioritize multiple functions and tasks.

Job Duties: The successful candidate will be responsible for treating ill and injured patients of all age groups. The EMT or Paramedic will perform skilled work while operating in an approved mobile medical unit, rescuing victims and performing advanced emergency care including the administration of life sustaining treatment to patients on-site and while in route to hospital. The candidate will be an active team member in the Emergency Department and be a positive influence in the organization.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in nursing preferred

Job Duties:
The ED RN ensures the delivery of and provides quality nursing care for patients of all ages presenting to the Emergency Department. The RN works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The RN will incorporate caring for all patients in all settings, and includes, but is not limited to, all of the following: A comprehensive nursing assessment, the development of a plan of nursing care to be integrated within the patient centered health care plan, and setting goals to meet identified health care needs, determining nursing interventions, and implementation of nursing care through the execution of nursing strategies and regimens ordered or prescribed by authorized healthcare professionals. The Registered Nurse will administer medication in a timely manner. The nurse will delegate duties to comply with the patient’s current plan of care and advocate for patients. The Registered Nurse will evaluate responses to interventions and the effectiveness of the plan of care. The nurse must communicate and collaborate with other health care professionals as needed to ensure continuity of care.
