The Mason District Hospital Foundation was established on March 27, 1991 as a not-for-profit corporation with the purpose of providing financial and promotional support in a charitable manner to enhance Mason District Hospital’s ability to provide excellence in healthcare for the community it serves. The Mason District Hospital Foundation gratefully accepts gifts that enable it to fulfill its purpose through funding ”state-of-the-art” equipment and technology, specific medical programs, and community outreach programs that promote health and wellness.
The Foundation is made up of a group of seven volunteers who serve as the Board of Directors. Since 1991, the Foundation has paid out over 2 million dollars for projects to benefit the patients of Mason District Hospital.
Our donations have come through the generosity of our donors and volunteers. Our major fund-raising activities have included the Golden Opportunity Campaign, The Annual Appeal Campaigns and the Annual Golf Outings.
