Founded in 1957, Mason District Hospital (MDH) is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital serving Havana and the surrounding communities. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
MDH provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including a state-of-the-art Emergency Department, swing bed services, rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary care, and Home Health. Our three Rural Health Clinics — Havana Medical Associates, along with locations in Mason City and Manito — expand access to primary and specialty services throughout the region.
MD Immediate Care offers convenient walk-in treatment without an appointment, while visiting outpatient specialty clinics bring medical specialists to our hospital — ensuring patients can receive advanced services locally.
