Dr. Bethany Bitner is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice Medicine. Dr. Bitner provides care to newborn and older patients. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology/pre-medicine/religion from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois and her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Bitner was born and raised in Havana and returned to practice medicine in 2012.
Since 2013, she has been the Medical Director of the Mason County Health Department. Dr. Bitner is an Associate Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford since 2015.
In her spare time, Dr. Bitner enjoys spending time with her son and family, reading, her dogs, music and traveling.
