Dr. Fred E. Braastad received his Medical Degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in 1984.  He completed his general surgery residency at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria in 1989.  He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Peoria, IL.  He is board certified from, the American Board of Surgery and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  His specialty is general, vascular, colo-rectal, thoracic, laparoscopic and advanced laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Gavish N. Patel received his Medical Degree from the University of Illinois in 1995.  He completed his general surgery residency at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria in 2000.  He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Peoria, IL.  He is board certified from the American Board of Surgery and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  His specialty is general, vascular, colo-rectal, thoracic, laparoscopic and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
