Our Commitment to Health & Wellness
Mason District Hospital’s Community Health and Wellness Department is committed to giving you information and tools you need to take charge of your health. Reaching out to the community to improve individual health and wellness is our goal, reducing the risk of disease and early death in the community, by raising awareness and encouraging participation in physical activity and healthy eating. To stay healthy, you must fully understand your current health status as well as your risk of developing diseases in the future.
Each of us has different dreams and goals, but we all have one thing in common, the desire to feel good and enjoy life.
Live Well
Health and wellness encompasses all aspects of our life and how well we live. Three major areas of concern that face us all in some way or another, either yourself or someone you know, are heart disease, cancer and diabetes. Mason District Hospital is dedicated to help the community in prevention, education and management in these areas as well as other health issues. To improve our health and wellbeing we need to live well, live healthy and live strong.
Live Healthy
Exercise and having a well-balanced, nutritious diet are a couple of ways to help prevent and manage various health issues and diseases.
